Danny Rensch is one of the most visible chess streamers/promoters/commentators in the world of Twitch. He does lots of the Chess.com events and while he doesn’t stream a ton on his own channel, you will find him out there occasionally.
While Danny can be a little corny at times, one of the things about him that we love is that his passion and enthusiasm for the game is contagious and genuine, and he is a great commentator especially in partnership with GM Robert Hess. He is also very enthusiastic about the teaching aspects of Chess and the history and beauty of the game. If you can get past a few corny jokes Danny Rensch is super-enjoyable to watch, and you’ll probably come away with a few bits of knowledge as well. Highly recommended.
